Programme Description

The Trade Supplier apprenticeship programme has been developed in collaboration with industry employers to strengthen operations at the trade counter and beyond. Designed to build both technical product knowledge and practical workplace skills, this Level 2 programme empowers learners to deliver excellent customer service, ensure the efficient flow of goods, and uphold organisational standards across the business. It supports individuals in developing a professional approach rooted in integrity, responsibility, and commitment.

This programme is ideal for individuals currently working in or entering trade counter roles, whether they are new to the industry or seeking to enhance their career prospects. With rolling start dates and a 14-month duration (plus a 3-month End Point Assesment window), it offers flexibility and structured progression. Learners will explore a wide range of key areas including warehousing, telesales, legislative responsibilities, customer interaction, and the use of relevant workplace technologies.

Throughout the apprenticeship, learners will develop a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and behaviours aligned with government standards. They will work closely with tutors in monthly sessions, gradually preparing for a rigorous End Point Assessment consisting of a practical observation, professional discussion and multiple-choice test. Long-term, the programme aims to build confidence and competence, enabling learners to improve processes, handle responsibilities independantly, and contribute meaningfully to business success.
